ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would lead a high level meeting today, the purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the problems hindering the implementation of National Action Plan.
Sources reveal that Nasser Janjua, adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security, would brief regarding the implementation of the National Action Plan.
Prime Minister will discuss problems being faced by different provinces, ways to ensure implementation of National Action Plan for country’s safety.
The session would be attended by federal ministers, advisers along with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI, DG IB and DGMO.
Along with NAP, FATA reforms will also be discussed during the high-level meeting.
The meeting should result in speeding up the process of effectively implementing National Action Plan. After the recent Quetta Civil Hospital bombingthe government jumped into action and has held various meetings related to national security in the past two weeks.
