MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Police Department has inked a plan to establish Swift Expatriates Facilitation Cells across to provide help to the overseas Kashmiris.
This was disclosed by AJK Police Inspector General Bashir Memon while addressing a gathering of overseas Kashmiris and renowned journalists on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Memon said that the plan of setting the cells has primary been inked under the vision of the Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan.
The IGP said that to ensure the delivery of quick service by the police to the Kashmiri expatriates sitting abroad – or during the course of their visit home – in connection with any legal case at the pattern of the police services in the developed countries, including Britain – where over a million Kashmiri expatriates were dwelling in.
