ISLAMABAD: World leaders on Monday condemned Sunday’s terrorist attack.A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said they were shocked and saddened at the incident Lahore. “We condemn the brutal terrorist attack in the strongest terms,” a message received here quoted the spokesperson as saying. Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Marzouk Al Zahrani expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the tragedy that befell Lahore on Sunday evening.
The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Islamabad condemned the terrorist attack on innocent civilians. Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the Lahore attack and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families. In his condolence messages, he said the incident was a barbaric act against the humanity. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe condemned the attack and expressed Japan’s support to Pakistan in the fight against terrorism. The UN Pakistan team condemned the bombing.
