Office of the Controller of Examinations of University of Management and Technology proudly announces that 50 PhD scholars have successfully completed their doctorate degrees from UMT in the span of last six years, from 2013 to 2019. According to press release mentioned schools, School of Social Science and Humanities 19, School of Science 10, Institute of Clinical Psychology 8, Institute of Liberal Arts 7, School of Business and Economics 4, School of Systems and Technology 1, School of Textile and Design 1 have transformed learners into PhD Scholars. President UMT Ibrahim Hassan Murad extended his heartiest congratulations to our doctoral graduates, along with the supervisors and faculty members who played an integral role in the completion of this academic milestone. He expressed that UMT has been ranked among the top 550 universities in regional QS Asia University Rankings and has become the first choice of students. He also said that UMT has given away more than 3.5 billion rupees scholarship to its students from inception. In developing countries such as Pakistan, there is a need of increased PhDs to acquire greater depth of knowledge therefore with a diversified range of PhDs in various schools and institutes, UMT has accomplished the milestone of engaging 200+ international qualified PhDs from more than 22 nations worldwide which not only leads to enhanced professional growth but also produce clusters of highly qualified people; he added. Furthermore he told that UMT is all set to produce PhD qualified human capital to promote national economic competitiveness and contribute to the development of education sector in Pakistan.
